According to That HashTag Show, Morbius’ fiancée in the comics -Martine Bancroft, will be the female lead. The site was not able to provide any further details and outside of Jared Leto being cast as Morbius there really has not been much reported. Sony might be waiting until it sees how Venom performs when it comes out later this year before really making any solid commitments to this film. Sony’s Silver and Black has been removed from the schedule and is indefinitely postponed while the director works on the script. Last week it was reported that a movie featuring Kraven the hunter would be going into production with Equalizer 2 writer Richard Wenk.
