If there is one thing we have found out recently, it is the Japanese love Spider-Man. Because they do nothing half-way, they have went above and beyond to promote Marvel’s Spider-Man: Far from Home. Not only have they released some seriously cool posters for the film, but now they have announced an even cooler project.
Japanese publishing company Kodansha recently announced that they will be launching a new Spider-Man manga series. The comic will run on their Manga Pocket app in Japan and is scheduled to be released later this Summer. Entitled Spider-Man Fake Red, Kodansha will be basing their version on the Marvel’s PlayStation 4 interation of Spider-Man.
Marvel will be supervising the new manga with illustrations done by Yusuke Osawa. Little else is known at this time, including who Spidey’s possible villains or allies might be. However, fans received a glimpse of the project from the Twitter announcement:
