[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11135″ img_size=”1000×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]In classic Marvel style, the upcoming Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will feature a cameo by the late Stan Lee. This will be the first Marvel content released after the passing of the legend and it’ll make the appearance all the more poignant. Lee passed away at the age of 95 of November 12th and it rocked the geeky world, who, despite Lee’s age; believed he would live forever.
In the animated movie, Lee appears in animated form speaking words of wisdom to a young Miles Morales. Lee has frequently been a source of inspiration and comfort in his cameos throughout the years and seeing him guide a young Morales will be nothing short of bittersweet.
Rodney Rothman is the third director for the movie and commented on the experience of watching the movie and the Stan Lee cameo with the audience:
“Watching it with an audience the other day and all the different emotions that they were giving off was just incredible.”
While Lee has upcoming cameos for Captain Marvel and Avengers 4, his cameo for Sony’s Venom was the last one that he filmed. Which, was also a moment of Lee giving a piece of advice to Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock.
Stan Lee’s presence in any Spider-Man movie is always touching considering the legend created the character with Steve Ditko in 1962.
