With that in mind, there continues to be parts to cast and decisions to be made. According to sources from The Wrap, one of those roles will be the daughter of Idris Elba’s as yet unknown character. To fill that part, they are in discussions with A Wrinkle in Time’s Storm Reid. Although a deal has not been reached at this time, she is said to be at the top of their list.
Details about the part (like most things involved with the film) have been kept strictly under wraps. Because of that, there are only a few things we know for certain. It was written and will be directed by James Gunn. Peter Safran and Charles Roven are producing and it is tentatively scheduled to hit the theaters on Aug. 6, 2021.
