The Flight Attendant Episodes 6-8 Review: Non-Stop Jaw-Dropping Moments

Saying that a show is perfect is like casting a wide net. The word is often thrown around carelessly and only said in the heat of the moment. But, I feel confident in saying the season finale of HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant was perfect. After watching episodes six, seven, and eight, I feel as if there’s no better way to describe the rest of the series. It was emotionally packed, moved quickly without rushing, contained some serious jaw-dropping moments, and had some clean and stellar looking fight scenes. I couldn’t be more satisfied with how the story of Cassie Bowden wrapped up.

I’m Still Picking My Jaw Off The Floor

Episode six begins the healing process for Annie and Cassie, who have a lot of demons they must come to face with before beginning to forgive the other. As well as themselves. In fact, the last three episodes were all about Cassie finally coming to term with the truths of her past. The truths she’s buried for so long. It’s great seeing Cassie finally seeing things clearly. And when we learn the truth of the past, it’s eye opening.

What’s even more eye-opening are the twists set in the current time. I found myself standing up several times, just gawking at the TV screen because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. There were reveals about characters that you never saw coming. It was really well-written and well-acted. For anyone who doubted this show, you were wrong. The Flight Attendant delivered on every promise it made and it just kept getting better.

Rating: 5/5

Every character introduced played an important part to the story. This may have been Cassie’s series, but you became invested in every single person. Rosie Perez gave a masterclass in acting as Megan and as I said before, Kaley Cuoco needs to be recognized for acting her ass off in this show. I must also give huge kudos to Zosia Mamet as Annie. Griffin Matthews as Shane, Michiel Huisman as Alex, Colin Woodell as Buckley, Michelle Gomez as Miranda, and everyone! Not a character was wasted. Not a moment was spent poorly.

You really should watch The Flight Attendant – I feel so completely satisfied with the ending. I would hope for more, but I am satisfied if this lives as a perfect miniseries about the adventures and self-discovery of a flight attendant.
