In a recent discussion surrounding David Gordon Green’s upcoming horror film, ‘The Exorcist: Believer,’ Director Green and Producer Jason Blum inadvertently shifted the spotlight onto the future of the iconic Halloween franchise. Despite ‘Halloween Ends’ being initially touted as the franchise’s ultimate conclusion, recent developments suggest a potential continuation of this beloved horror saga.

Blum affirmed, “It was called ‘The End.’ That’s the end,” underlining the intended finality of ‘Halloween Ends.’ Green concurred, posing the rhetorical question, “Yeah, where do you go after that?” However, a hint of ambiguity crept into Blum’s perspective, suggesting that the conclusion might not be as definitive as previously thought.

“I don’t know. I’ve been thinking about Halloween a lot lately. I’m not so sure, I’m not so sure. I was very sure it was our last Halloween, and now… You know, I’ve been thinking, Halloween is coming around, the actual holiday, and I don’t know. It’s anybody’s guess,” mused Blum, leaving room for speculation about the franchise’s future.

Despite this uncertainty, Halloween franchise star Jamie Lee Curtis has firmly stated her intention to bid farewell to her iconic role as Laurie Strode. During a previous appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Curtis was humorously presented with a playful “contract” symbolizing her retirement from the Halloween franchise.

“I declare this is my last Halloween movie. I, Jamie Lee Curtis, queen of scream, daughter of Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis, mother of Lindsay Lohan. Hereby sweareth under penalty of perjury, that Halloween Ends will be the last Halloween movie I will ever appear in. For all time, across all sequels and multiverses. Enforceable by the Police Department of Haddonfield, Illinois. May God have mercy on all of us,” jestingly read the contract.

In response, Curtis playfully contemplated the legal implications, maintaining the humor of the situation. Nevertheless, her prior statements have made it clear that she envisions ‘Halloween Ends’ as her definitive departure from the franchise.

As Halloween approaches, fans eagerly await the fate of Michael Myers and the Halloween saga. Will ‘Halloween Ends’ truly conclude the chilling narrative, or could there be an unforeseen twist awaiting fans? Only time will unveil the next chapter in this thrilling tale of horror and suspense.
