‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’: Henry Cavill Is Rumored To Be In Talks To Return For Sequel

Henry Cavill might be one of the hottest actors out there right now. He is in high demand with fans for a return as Superman, something that seems less likely as the days and months pass. The actor also has a great gig on Netflix with his Witcher series. There are also rumblings the actor could be working on a Mass Effect project. Needless to say the actor is quite busy.

Another film Cavill starred in that fans have wanted to see a sequel to is The Man from U.N.C.L.E., which also starred Alicia Vikander and Armie Hammer. While the film grossed over $100 million at the box office back in 2015, there hasn’t been much movement on a sequel, until now that is.

A new rumor from Small Screen (through Twitter scooper Daniel Richtman) seems to indicate that there might be some movement and Henry Cavill is in talks to return to the franchise as Napoleon Solo. Take this rumor with a grain of salt but this is good news for Cavill fans and fans wanting to see a sequel to the film. The rumor also states that producers plan to recast Armie Hammer, no surprise there. The report does not mention Alicia Vikander returning but it is possible she might. There is also no word on if director Guy Ritchie would return.

As much as I want this to be true, I am not getting my hopes up until we get more confirmation but it is exciting to think that maybe, just maybe, we might see Cavill make a return to the franchise.
