For me, Chapter two is a stronger episode then Chapter one. As most might remember, my only issue with chapter one of The Mandolorian was the pacing of some of its scenes. In chapter two of The Mandalorian, it is a shorter run time, but the scenes felt didn’t feel too rushed or too slow-paced.

The baby Yoda race being is this cutest thing in Star Wars since the Porgs from The Last Jedi, but once you see baby Yoda in action, you will not only think he is cute, but he is a badass.

Now, to everyone’s theory, that baby Yoda is a clone. I can understand why people think that. With Dr. Pershing, played by Omid Abtahi, wanting Baby Yoda alive, so many fans concluded that Baby Yoda was a clone since Dr. Pershing is a scientist. Now with that being said, I guess that Baby Yoda is a reincarnation of Yoda. We have not dealt with rebirth in Star Wars canon as of yet, but I think that is a better conclusion then cloning since, in canon, you can not clone anyone with force abilities.

Now Dyn Jarren, The Mandalorian, as the series goes on, this character is getting more depth to his character that makes him more compelling. From him getting angry that the jaws took his ship apart to not holding his own with a creature. It shows that he does have emotions and that he can’t take anyone or anything on by himself.

The Mandalorian is becoming known to have excellent opening fight sequences before the opening title, and they are incredible. They set the tone of the overall story of that episode and creates tension right up until the show ends. Now people are going to complain about the run time. It is a lot shorter than episode one. Please get over it. This series will be between the forty to the thirty-minute time limit. Regardless of that, the show is incredible.

Rick Famuyiwa directed this episode, and it was well made. Just like the first chapter, I will be watching chapter two multiple times. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
