Star Wars fans don’t have to wait very long for the next line of Star Wars video games. According to Comicbook.com, the next slate of Star Wars will begin in 2021 with a video game.
The project is supposedly helmed under the name Project Luminous and will take place 400 years prior to the events of the Skywalker Saga. During the High Republic Era. It will focus on a group of Jedi who explore an unknown corner of the galaxy. There are also mentions that Yoda will play a big part in all of this. It’s not Baby Yoda, but it makes sense that Yoda would be a key focus in future Star Wars projects.
The next film of Star Wars isn’t set to come out until about 2022, but it makes sense to tease fans with a video game first. Much like Marvel, Star Wars may step away from the trilogy format and just go with shows, movies, and video games that all connect. This game that we’ve mentioned before could come from EA, who have been granted video game rights by Disney. All of this is speculation, but who doesn’t love anything Star Wars?
