[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”31683″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]It seems that the rivalry between DC and Marvel is more intense than ever before. One movie can not be made on either side without fans flocking to, instead of praising the movie; simply gloat about how terrible the other side is.
We will soon get a documentary now on the fierce rivalry, coming from the two men who helmed some of the biggest comic book movies ever. The Russo Brothers will executive produce Slugfest for Quibi, which is inspired by a Reed Tucker book. Tucker’s book is called “Slugfest: Inside the Epic, 50-Year Battle between Marvel and DC.” In the series, we will witness the growth of comic books, as well as the rise of DC and Marvel and how the two became powerhouses in the comic book world, as well as in Hollywood.
The Russo brothers want Slugfest to bring light to the stories about the history of the two that might not be so well known. There will be interviewers with the creators of some of the most well-known superheroes of all time. We will also be viewing the Marvel-DC crossover comic in the 70s that saw Superman shaking hands with Spiderman.
Are you excited about Slugfest and seriously, can’t we all just get along?
