‘The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle’ Moves Its Date Back

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”7389″ img_size=”600×200″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Robert Downey Jr.’s “The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle” will be moved from a 2019 release date to now a 2020 premiere. While in the past decade we now know the actor most for his role as Tony Stark aka Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Downey is an acclaimed actor who has a long filmography of accomplishments. Along with the third installment to his Sherlock Holmes franchise, the actor will also be the next in line of those to bring the adventures of Dr. Dolittle to life.

According to sources, the reason behind the date change was due to wanting to give the movie a better slot. David Harbour’s Hellboy reboot will be premiering in April, so not wanting the Dr. Dolittle to compete with the already anticipated film is understandable.

Along with Downey starring as the titular character, the cast lending their voices to the animals are Tom Holland, Rami Malek, Emma Thompson, Ralph Fiennes, Marion Cotillard, Octavia Spencer, and Kumail Nanjiani.

“The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle” hits theaters January 17, 2020.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
