Slight Spoilers

The Titans deal with the revelation of Rose’s family ties in episode three, “Ghost”. Fresh off of finding out that the Slade Wilson is this mysterious girl’s father, the team questions not only if it’s a good idea to keep her around, but is it safe?

Meanwhile, Kory deals with her past coming to bring her home, though; it’s not necessarily something she wants at the moment. Kory dealing with a man who she states she’s had previous sexual intercourse with, who is a “different class” than she is. The two briefly speak about how on Earth, anyone from any class system can be with who they want to be with. They do not need to remain within their status as they do on their planet. Therefore, what they once had is not forbidden on Earth. It’s an interesting topic to bring up and though he is there to try to “sway” her to come home, there’s part of Kory that is probably remember what made her warm and fuzzy towards him in the first place.

Plus, keep on the lookout for a Blackfire name-drop!

I really don’t have a good feeling about Dawn and Hank’s relationship this season. Where Hank had told Dawn that there were done if she continued being Dove in the previous episode, we have Hank remembering how badly he wants to be Hawk again. With Dove saying that he needs to not be in that life anymore. Either way, the two are at Titans tower to deal with Dr. Light, but we know they’ll end up wanting to be back in the action. I know shows love relationship drama and Dick clearly still loves Dawn, but I love Dawn and Hank together so…DC Universe, do the right thing.

We’re still a little bit in setup mode, as the first episode of the season had to wrap the Trigon story. This may be the technical third episode, but the second in this story arc. I enjoyed seeing Raven and Rose have a small bonding session over having not so great dads. The CGI, at one point with Donna Troy and her lasso; were questionable and the movements were awkward. Other than that, I think we’re finally going to really bring in Deathstroke and find out what happened between him and his son Jericho.

We’ll see that Jason Todd may have bit off a little more than he could chew. Stay tuned![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
