Yvette Nicole Brown Thought Her Cameo was for Infinity War and Not Avengers: Endgame

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”28474″ img_size=”1080×1080″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Plenty of actors and actresses film scenes for movies that never see the light of day due to being cut. This was not the case for actress Yvette Nicole Brown. Brown has a brief cameo in Avengers: Endgame that she didn’t think was in the movie, considering she thought she had filmed the elevator scene for Avengers: Infinity War. When Brown saw Infinity War and believed her part had been cut, she took it well:

“I just said, ‘Well, it was nice. It’s the thought that counts.’ And I forgot about it.”

But, it was during her viewing of Endgame she realized that scene was for Endgame:

“I’m sitting there with a group in my seat like ‘This is going to be it. Oh my God, it’s an elevator! It’s me!’ I’m just sitting there, biting the inside of my jaw. I was so freaking excited, I can’t even tell you. So frigging excited! My friends were, too.”

She added that, since she thought her role had been cut; that she hadn’t told any of her friends and family prior:

“I kept that secret for two years. That NDA was iron-clad. I really needed my left foot, so I never told anybody.”

Brown did admit to having one regret though:

“I didn’t even come to the premiere. I didn’t know I was in it! I could’ve come!”

I think movies should probably start telling those who have these small cameos if their scenes have been cut or not so they can enjoy the celebrations!
