https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=hdZiTQlzk4k You may remember that when the Hellboy project was being discussed there were mentions of the Lobster Johnson character being part of the story. At the time it was being rumored that Thomas Hayden Church would be playing the character. This was mainly due to an early listing on IMDb. Now the folks at Lionsgate have released an all-new clip (via JoBlo) where the classic Hellboy character makes his live-action debut. In the clip ( as seen above), Lobster Johnson can be seen burning his signature claw mark in the head of Rasputin. Remember this is an R-rated clip and is…

CW Reportedly Reveals New ‘Lost Boys” Logo CW

When it comes to marketing, presentation is important. At least that is what I seem to remember from my old graphic design class. With that in mind, the CW has apparently released their new logo for their upcoming Lost Boys reboot. You remember the Lost Boys, right? It was Joel Schumacher’s 1987 film that combined comedy and horror while trying to make Vampires cool. It starred Jason Patric, Keifer Sutherland, Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, (all the Corey’s), Jamie Gertz and Dianne Wiest. The CW has made itself a niche by taking older projects like the Lost Boys and trying to…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14030″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]So I have come full circle. My very first post on this site back in July of last year was about Shazam! and my initial misgivings about Zachary Levi as the titular character. I said then that once I understood the premise under which they were working, I could see the casting. Fast forward eight months (time goes fast in posting time) and I went to see the early Fandango premier of Shazam! given the opportunity. Since the film does not hit all the theaters until April 5th, I will refrain from ruining the major plot and…

Since the passing of Marvel’s Stan Lee, it has been unsure of how many more cameos he had put on film. One film that will not have a cameo is X-Men:Dark Phoenix. They will instead have a tribute to the legendary creator of so many of the characters the films are using today. This will be much like Captain Marvel did in it’s opening Marvel Montage (although they also had a cameo appearance). This was confirmed by X-Men Movies producer Hutch Parker and Dark Phoenix director Simon Kinberg. We don’t have a cameo,” Kinberg revealed. I’d rather say that than then keep it…

Tom Holland has made the role of Spider-Man his own. Fan’s everywhere have extolled the virtues of his performances, especially in his end scene of Infinity War with Robert Downy Jr. when he apologized to Mr. Stark for leaving after saying he didn’t want to go. Unfortunately, the other reputation the young man has developed is for not being able to keep a secret. This is problematic in the Marvel Cinematic Universe when so much secrecy is involved in their plots. Because of this, the Russo Brothers have tried to eliminate the problem for Holland by not giving him anything…

Show the first season? We don’t need to show the stinkin’ first season! You’re renewed! You’re Renewed!…Ok, I know I am mixing my metaphors here, but the point is, it has become relatively common place for shows to be renewed in their early stages. So it might come as no surprise that Disney+ has reportedly planned to renew The Mandalorian for a second season. The new series which is being lead by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Jungle Book) is set to star Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones, Kingsman: The Golden Circle) in the titular role as a bounty hunter. He will be…
