Abrams Star Wars IX that this film would be the conclusion of the Skywalker story. However, with so much discussion about Star Wars spinoffs and branch off stories for the Disney+ Streaming Service and other proposed films, it has been wondered if the Skywalker history might be revisited. In a recent interview with the Today Show, Oscar Issac, one of the stars of the film explained that this will indeed be the culmination of 40 years and nine different stories told. It is…

This included Dr.Doom, the iconic villain that was synonymous with the Fantastic Four. Noah Hawley, Fargo and Legion show runner had been developing a script for a stand alone film centered around the Ruler of Latveria for 20th Century Fox. It was assumed that the soon to be completed purchase of Fox by Disney might push the project forward.  That appears to not be the case. Speaking with Hollywood Reporter, Hawley reported that he had talked with…

He also knew he had some ammunition in his arsenal with Sony’s Marvel relationships. They have a license with Marvel for a large library of characters in addition to their number one asset, Spider-Man. Their goal is to take advantage of this by not only using them on the big screen, i.e. the Academy Award winning Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse, and their successful Venom film, but on the TV Screen as well. Hopkins laid out a…

That is the case with Captain Marvel although we need to be clear, nothing has been discussed as of yet about a sequel and most likely won’t be with Avengers:End Game, and Spider-Man: Far from Home still on the horizon. With that being said, that hasn’t stopped Marvel’s Kevin Feige from talking about the possibilities as he did with Entertainment Tonight (Slight Spoiler) when he was asked about whether Carol Danvers actually ended the Skrull/Kree…

At least I thought I had. Joe Dempsie, the actor behind Gendry in Game of Thrones, has put out his thoughts on another theory that centers around his parentage. Most fans know that Gendry is the bastard son of Robert Baratheon. This fact became a matter of contention for a number of factions. Joffrey, in his desire to remove any possible challengers to the throne, put out an edict that all bastard…

That was the case for 2005’s Doom. Based on the Uber-popular first person shooter, it was thought that its popularity would translate to the big screen. Unfortunately, this didn’t prove to be the case as it pretty much tanked with a global box office of only 15 million on a 60 million dollar budget. OUCH! Fast forward 14 years and Universal is giving the Doom franchise another go. Doom: Annihilation is set for a fall 2019 release and…

It would star Channing Tatum as the titular X-Men hero Gambit and Rise of the Planet of the Apes director Rupert Wyatt would helm the film. Storylines were discussed, a script was being prepared but in the end, it didn’t happen. The reasons are numerous but if you were to ask Wyatt, the reason was the failure of the Fantastic Four reboot. The Fantastic Four was supposed to be a reimagining of the iconic comic tale for Fox following the previous films Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Unfortunately, fans found the…

Given those choices, he understandably choose the wall. Upon his arrival he is…
