Some more than once. In true HBO fashion, they have held their tongue, although they have been somewhat cryptic with their responses. In a recent interview with Kit Harrington by KISS FM UK, he was asked again for his thoughts on the finale and if the ending made him happy or sad.…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14673″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t played the PS4 Spider-Man game , you might want to stop reading right here as this will reveal an important event in the game. Go ahead, we won’t judge. Play the game and then come back to us. As for the rest of you, let’s continue. Insomniac Games Spider-Man for the PS4 has been a monster hit for the company. So much so that a sequel is already in the works, however there was an event in the game that Marvel was not initially sold on. In fact, they disliked the idea. The…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14670″ img_size=”800×600″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]I’ve always wanted to write like The Batman director Matt Reeves. Now, judging from the length of his initial script for his version of Batman, I might actually have accomplished it. The Hollywood Reporter recently reported that Reeves first run at The Batman script was 160 pages long. That is a LOT of Batman story. Considering my predilection to be very verbose in my writing, even I might have a problem writing THAT many pages. Ok, that’s not true but for a script, that is quite a bit of pages. Of course, Reeves is already hard at work revising his script and paring…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14603″ img_size=”400×209″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]As  I mentioned in the past, I jumped into Fox’s The Orville Season 2 without watching season one. Thus I have sort of a learning curve to make up to understand the crew relationships and command structure. I have tried to keep this in mind as I watch and comment on each episode. Perhaps it is this learning curve that made it kind of strange to me to see the ships response to a first contact mission in last weeks All the World is a Birthday Cake.  Since Seth MacFarlane has made his show a homage to Star Trek, you would think…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14535″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Ever since it was announced that James Gunn, he of the very successful Guardians of the Galaxy films, was working on the script to the follow up to DC’s successful and somewhat polarizing Suicide Squad, it was wondered if he might direct the film as well. The answer to that question might be yes as Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Gunn’s representatives are indeed talking to Warner Bros. about directing this new version of Suicide Squad, which at this time is called The Suicide Squad. This would be good news to those who thought Gunn got a raw deal with his outing from Marvel…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14520″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]As a giant Star Trek nerd, I was particularly excited to the idea of revisiting Jean-Luc Picard. While much of the details of the show remain in the planning stages, translated: “Their not going to tell you.” However, in a recent interview with Yahoo, he explained how the creative people at CBS were able to peak his interest enough to revisit the character he had pretty much given up on. I agreed to a meeting with the people who were going to produce this new version of Star Trek only because I wanted to seriously and respectfully…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/qyveTC0C-40″ align=”center”][vc_column_text]With ABC and Marvel releasing the Agents of Shield Preview Trailer, they are obviously playing with our fragile emotions. Just last week, Chloe Bennett confirmed that Agent Phil Coulson had indeed died after the end of Season 5. Now with release of the trailer, they are opening the door to reconsider what we think we know. Not only do they show a holographic recording of Coulson talking to Mac, they also show what looks like a very alive Coulson, although he doesn’t appear to know what Shield is. Stop playing around with our feelings. Marvel’s Agents of Shield is set…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14258″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The awards and recognition keeps pouring in for Marvel’s Black Panther as they took home the best ensemble cast at tonight’s SAG awards. During his acceptance speech, Star Chadwick Boseman teased what has to be the worst kept secret in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that he expects a Black Panther  2. He made mention of the fact during his speech: It’s a pleasure to be celebrated by you and to be loved by you. One thing I do know, [when asked] ‘Did it change the industry?’ is that you can’t have a Black Panther without a 2 on it. So…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14247″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]With the final season of Game of Thrones right around the proverbial corner, all of HBO’s creative efforts are being focused on the prequel to the popular show. Based on events before the creation of the White Walkers, very little else is known. But if you think series lead Naomi Watts is going to spill any information on the show, you can put that to rest. Apparently, the secrecy mavens at HBO have already trained her well about keeping things on lock down. In a recent interview with Variety, they attempted to get her to give any insight into the project…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14242″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Let’s face it. When you’re doing a film about what has been considered by many as the “wet-headed step-child” of DC comics, your expectations might not have been grandiose. James Wan knew he wanted to elevate the character to a level that was on an equal footing with the more iconic heroes like Superman or Batman. What he probably didn’t anticipate was his film, would one day surpass all DC films that came before it and become the highest grossing DC film of all time. He helped commemorate this by posting about the character he wanted to…
