Senior Writer at GeekVibesNation - I am a 50 something child of the 70’s who admits to being a Star Trek/Star Wars/Comic Book junkie who once dove head first over a cliff (Ok, it was a small hill) to try to rescue his Fantastic Four comic from a watery grave. I am married to a lovely woman who is as crazy as I am and the proud parent of a 18 year old boy with autism. My wife and son are my real heroes.

My wife and I love movies. More specifically, we live to quote them. Lucky for us there are always circumstances that just cry for a line or two from one of our favorite movies. As an exercise in trivial nonsense, I am going to make up a scenario and then the movie quote that might follow it. How many will you recognize? We’ll make a game of it…2 points for every correct response. An extra point if you knew who said it. I’ll list the answers at the bottom. Some of these are very easy, some are more obscure. Ok……

When creating a character for a comic book, one of the important things writers and artists decide on is color. What does this character look like? What color is he or she and why? Most comic book efficionados know for instance that when the Incredible Hulk first appeared in May of 1962, he was grey. It was only in the 2nd issue that he became the “Green Goliath” that fans know now. Of course he has went thru a rainbow of different colors since then but green has never gone out of style. During those early days it was the…

It is no secret by now that Jeff Shaw has been signed as a regular for season 6 to reprise his role as Jemma and Fitz’s Grandson Deke Shaw. But what wasn’t known was how close he came to being a one and done character…but not as Deke. The cast of the ABC show visited the L.A. Times’ video studio during Comic-Con last week, and Jeff Ward told the story of how he was originally reading for a different character altogether. “I was cast as Virgil. When James Gunn was released from his contract at Disney and lost his job directing Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol.3 I initially thought, that’s a shame. Whatever he said must have been bad and moved on. I have since read some of them and they ARE bad, not funny and indefensible. They also happened seven to ten years ago. I realize there is no statute of limitations on free speech but it is certainly true that…

One of the many things that has inspired questions from Batman fans about what transpired in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, was the defiled Robin suit and who it actually belonged to. Many fans have assumed the costume belongs to the now-deceased Jason Todd. It seems however that Zack Snyder has decided to throw a grenade into that theory with one little  comment on his Vero account: “What makes you think that’s Jason Todd” It has been stated that the suit is a clear reference to the A Death in the Family story arc, in which The Joker beats Jason Todd’s Robin…

At the end of Infinty War, Thanos sat overlooking a countryside and smiled knowing he had accomplished what he set out to do. I imagine there was a bit of satisfaction  knowing he triumphed over the Avengers and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to do it. If you ask Michael B. Jordan if Erik Killmonger would have made a difference, he in true Killmonger fashion, said yes.  “I think the one thing about Killmonger is he really plans his attacks, and they’re well thought out. So if he ever stepped in a situation with Thanos, he would feel confident that he had…
