Senior Writer at GeekVibesNation - I am a 50 something child of the 70’s who admits to being a Star Trek/Star Wars/Comic Book junkie who once dove head first over a cliff (Ok, it was a small hill) to try to rescue his Fantastic Four comic from a watery grave. I am married to a lovely woman who is as crazy as I am and the proud parent of a 18 year old boy with autism. My wife and son are my real heroes.

One of the main points was how Levi so easily handled the child-like wonder of suddenly having superpowers. Apparently His young co-star Asher Angel thinks the same thing. In an interview with Variety, Angel explained why Zachary was perfect in the role. “Zach, you’re the perfect Shazam because, I mean, we look alike, kind of, but he’s funny, we have a lot in common,” Angel told Variety. “I mean, he’s really a…

Fans of the X-Men from their beginning in the early 1960’s probably remember the original “Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.” This was Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s creation to provide the first foils for their new mutant X-Men team. The original Brotherhood consisted of Magneto, the Master of Magnetism as the team’s leader. He was joined by two characters familiar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the Brother and Sister duo of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch. Another of the original members was the Toad.  His mutant power was the gift of an incredible jumping ability and he wore a medieval costume. He…

In fact in 1997, McFarlane, in conjunction with New Line Cinema, produced a major motion picture starring Michael Jai White as the mercenary turned Hell Spawn. Its performance was modest at best but it did almost double its 40 million dollar budget between world wide and domestic ticket sales. With the announcement by McFarlane of a reboot that will be coming in the next couple of years, it sounds like the creator has some different ideas for Spawn’s…

As the creative team of artist Carlos Villa and writer Tim Seeley work on the upcoming Shatterstar miniseries, one of Marvel’s longtime X-Men characters, Rictor will be getting a new look that is more in keeping with his original design back in June of 1987 as Longtime he first appeared in XFactor#17. Villa decided to remodel his appearance as seen in this Twitter post: https://twitter.com/cfvillaart/status/1034429000020647936?s=21 In describing the new series, Seeley sees this as a journey for the  Shatterstar character in rediscovering who he is: “When the life he built crumbles, Shatterstar is forced to ask himself if he truly ever gave…

Scott Lang was the Ant-Man. Scott Lang was Goliath. (Well…he was Big!) He fought against other super villains (Yellow Jacket). He fought along with Captain America in  “Civil War” He fought along side the Wasp against the Ghost. He was a hero. But all of these things were not what made him a hero. What made him a hero was his love and dedication to his young daughter Cassie. Even while under house arrest his main goal was to entertain his daughter. That is what made him a hero, especially in his daughters eyes. Apparently, Jackson Sze, the Senior Concept Illustrator…

Daenerys Targaryen. The woman who inspires worship and fear across both sides of the Narrow Sea. She whose drivers license would have to be continued on the other side. You know her. Mother of Dragons, Khaleesi of the grass seas, blah, blah, blah… Yes, that’s her. The one thing we know is that Game of Thrones would be quite a different show without her. With that being said and since we obviously have perhaps even more time to wait until the 8th and final season, I will take advantage of this and submit for your approval, another in the…

As the production of Season 5 of Fox’s Gotham rolls on, more and more is being revealed about what will be seen during its final season. This includes some set pictures of what can only be “Mutant Leader” from Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Returns.” Unless there are other very large guys roaming about with spiked Mohawks and a visor that would make Cyclops jealous. For more proof, actor Sid O’Connell posted on his Instagram account verifying his participation and showing himself in the makeup chair prepping for the role he plays. https://www.instagram.com/p/BmvO_cbDIwu/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link When added to the previously released set…

When the original Child’s Play was introduced back in 1988, I doubt that the original creators Don Mancini, David Kirschner, or actor Brad Dourif ever saw this as a franchise that would produce seven different chapters let alone a separate remake. Nonetheless, that is where we find ourselves as the original team still is formulating new stories while MGM is formulating a completely different avenue for remaking the product in their own image. While the original “Chucky” involved a voodoo curse that put a killer into a doll, the new “Chucky” will involve a “hacked” programming code gone astray that…

This has been in the development stages for some time and it was known that eventually, many of the Disney properties would find their way to it. Now it has been given a name to attach to its product, Disney Play (With the fight over the Comic-Con name, makes you wonder if “Google Play” might have something to say about that). As the service establishes itself, films that were…
