Chris Evans in Talks to Join Little Shop of Horrors Remake

The upcoming Little Shop of Horrors is going to bring on a huge name for their remake. Chris Evans is currently in negotiations to play the role of dentist Orin Scrivello. This part is one that was famously played by Steve Martin in the 1986 version of Little Shop of Horrors. It seems like there may be more famous people joining the remake, as both Scarlett Johansson and Taron Egerton will potentially land lead roles. Billy Porter is already signed up for the role.

Egerton and Johansson are in talks of the roles of Seymour and Audrey. Porter will voice Audrey II, the large, talking Venus flytrap who is the center point of the film. Evans will play Scrivello, who is Audrey’s abusive boyfriend who finds pleasure in causing others pain. Certainly, he’s not Captain America anymore!

Either way, if all goes well, this movie will bring Johansson and Evans back together, as the two have also been in several projects together outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Do you want to see Evans as Iron Scrivello?
