Could ‘WandaVision’ Introduce The First X-Men Character in The MCU?

Who will be the first X-Men character brought into the MCU? FandomWire has the scoop of who that is going to be. While this is considered a spoiler, it also might not be a surprise. Considering WandaVision is out.

FandomWire is confirming that Evan Peters will be reprising his role as Quicksilver in WandaVision. Yes, we’ve had Quicksilver before, but he was in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Aaron Taylor-Johnson played Quicksilver before the MCU could say there were mutants. And Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch’s mutant origins were changed to fit within the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With Disney now owning Fox they can call them mutants. We knew previously that Peters was joining WandaVision, but him playing his X-Men character seemed a little too on the nose.

But, it seems the MCU is finding a way to bring back a character they pulled the plug on too soon with Peters coming in. I do wish it was Taylor-Johnson, but I do know fans loved Peters’ job in the X-Men films.

This begs the question, will we see more characters from the Fox world reprise their roles? Who will the MCU be recasting or who will be able to keep their jobs?

What do you think about this news?
