Not only did Netflix announce it was going to produce both a Pacific Rim and Altered Carbon anime, but now Devil May Cry will be getting its own anime rendition. Adi Shankar will produce the series for the giant streaming service, who was behind the popular series Castlevania which has had two seasons so far.

Earlier, the produce had teased on social media that he was working on a project, but fans didn’t know the title until now:

“Working with an iconic Japanese gaming company to adapt one of their iconic video game series into a series.”

When explaining why he decided to take on this project, the producer boldly said:

“[I] acquired these [Devil May Cry] rights myself so the jabronis in Hollywood don’t f—k this one up too.”

Devil May Cry will tie in with Castlevania for those curious.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
