Dicey by Magic Eden is a crypto-native casino and sportsbook built for the era of crypto entertainment, where gambling becomes social, and playing comes with benefits.

Read on to learn about Dicey and what it has to offer.

    TL;DR

    • Dicey is Magic Eden’s crypto casino and sportsbook. It’s no-KYC, provably fair on Originals, and accepts crypto deposits across multiple chains.

    • The trust stack includes a number of the same VCs as Stripe, Airbnb, and DoorDash, a public team, plus fast withdrawals and high limits.

    • Best for crypto-native gamblers who want a significant bankroll and want to keep their passport in the drawer.

    Dicey Overview

Dicey is a casino and sportsbook built by the team behind Magic Eden, the NFT marketplace that became one of Solana’s most-used platforms. Dicey runs entirely on crypto for deposits and withdrawals, and its proprietary games, the Dicey Originals, use HMAC-SHA256 cryptography to produce outcomes that any player can independently verify.

You can explore the Dicey crypto entertainment app without creating an account. You only need an email to sign up and deposit crypto to play.

    Features

    Here’s a quick walk-through of what’s on the platform.

    Casino Games Library

The games library comprises both Dicey Originals and third-party titles.

The Originals are the proprietary games that include Coinflip, Dice, Mines, Plinko, Blackjack, Limbo, and Keno. These run on Dicey’s own provably fair system. Bet limits across most Originals sit at $0.01 minimum, $5,000 maximum bet, and a $500,000 maximum win, normalized to USD across BTC, ETH, SOL, and USDC. BTC has a $0.0001 minimum. Demo mode is available if you want to play at $0 stakes first.

Third-party games come from licensed RNG providers and cover slots and live dealer titles. Max win on those varies by provider, but typically ranges from €100,000 to €1,000,000.

Plinko is probably the showpiece. With 16 rows on high-risk mode, the multiplier ceiling is 1000x on a single drop. Mines lets you pick a 25, 36, 49, or 64-tile grid and slide the mine count to set your own volatility. Limbo is the speed run. You pick a target multiplier, hit bet, and find out in a second whether the result cleared.

    Sportsbook

Sportsbook coverage spans the standard menu (like NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and F1) and more. Bets settle on a slip with single or combo modes, and decimal odds are the default (you can switch formats from the left menu).

One thing to know is that voided bets settle at x1 odds (stake returned, no win, no loss), and same-game multis void the entire slip if any single leg gets voided. That’s stricter than some books, so read the void rules before you build a 6-leg same-game.

    Provably Fair System

Every Dicey Original lets you verify the outcome of any bet yourself, using cryptography. The house generates a Server Seed and publishes its hash before the round.

You contribute a Client Seed. Each bet’s result comes from HMAC-SHA256 (Server Seed, Client Seed + “:” + Nonce). After you rotate the session, the actual Server Seed gets revealed, and you (or any third-party verifier) can recalculate every outcome.

While this isn’t entirely unique to Dicey, the platform gets the implementation right. The settings panel sits behind a small scale icon near the bet controls, and you can set a custom Next Client Seed before rotating, which streamers and independent verifiers will appreciate.

Slots and live dealer titles can’t be provably fair the same way. Those rely on the providers’ RNG certifications, which Dicey doesn’t control. It’s worth knowing if you’re picky about it.

    Supported Cryptocurrencies

The deposit list comprises Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, USDC (on Solana), and Magic Eden (ME)

One critical thing is that USDC on Ethereum is not the same as USDC on Solana. Send to the wrong network, and the funds are gone. Dicey shows the network on every deposit address, which helps, but the burden is on you to match it.

How to Get Started With Dicey

The flow takes about three minutes if you already have a wallet funded.

    1. Go to dicey.com and hit sign up. You only need your email to sign up (plus an access code if you’re play during the beta).

    2. Verify your email and finish creating your account with a one-time link you’ll receive in your inbox.

    3. Open the deposit modal, pick your currency, and copy the address shown. Match the network exactly.

    4. Send from your external wallet. SOL and USDC on Solana confirm in seconds. BTC takes a few blocks.

    5. Funds appear in your Cashier balance once the network confirms.

There’s no KYC at sign-up, so you can just get started without having to fill in forms or share any personal information.

    Final Verdict

Dicey is a well-built crypto casino with a few things that are genuinely harder to find in this category. The Originals library is great, the provably fair implementation is thorough rather than superficial, and the trust credentials, such as its public team, tier-1 VC backing, fast withdrawals, and high limits, all hold up to scrutiny.

If you’re already comfortable with crypto and want a platform that won’t restrict your account after a winning run, Dicey is worth a look. Just make sure you never bet more than you can afford to lose.
