Eric Kripke Says The Homelander/Soldier Boy Scene From the Comics Won’t Happen in the Show

Fans are excited for Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles to make his premiere as Soldier Boy in The Boys season three. Soldier Boy is going to have a lot of great scenes in the next season, but showrunner Eric Kripke says they’re going to exclude one specific scene between Soldier Boy and Antony Starr’s Homelander.

Disclaimer: Adult Themes from The Comics

In the comics, Soldier Boy is portrayed as a “bumbling hero” who is looking to join the Seven. He’s so desperate to be a part of the team that he’s tricked into having sex with Homelander – thinking it’s an audition. Kripke clarified, however; that this will not be the case:

“There isn’t going to be a Soldier Boy/Homelander having sex scene. There will be a Herogasm in season 3. You’ve earned it, you deserve it, and you’re gonna get it.”

For those who don’t know, Herogasm is a “Vought-sponsored” event that includes supes partying hard – having sex and doing drugs.

What do you think about The Boys revealing they won’t include a Homelander/Soldier Boy sex scene? Are you excited for Jensen Ackles to play Soldier Boy?
