Has Wilson Bethel Been Confirmed as Villain Bullseye?

While actor Wilson Bethel had been brought on to Daredevil as early as last November, his character had never officially been revealed. His role had been described as “pivotal” and “who will play a critical role in the conflict” between Daredevil and Wilson Fisk. Still, we all know that Marvel likes misleading us fans, in a good way of course; to ensure that we are truly surprised when they do decide to release their episodes.

In a post on Instagram, though; it seems that Bethel may have unofficially been announced as the well-known villain Bullseye.

If you look at the hashtags, personal trainer Naqam Washington tags both #Daredevil and #Bullseye when standing with Charlie Cox and Bethel. This is a rumor that we have pretty much accepted for a while and I’m just waiting for Marvel to officially announce it. In the meantime, all we can do is speculate further. Bullseye, in the comics; is a psychotic assassin who is a formidable adversary to Daredevil. What has me nervous about the possibility of Bullseye coming to Daredevil is that in the comics, he is the villain who kills Karen Page and the idea of Karen dying in the Netflix MCU is horrifying to me.

Wilson Bethel is best known for his roles on the show Hart of Dixie and soap opera The Young and the Restless. No announcement date has been released for Daredevil season three, but we do know it’s coming in 2018!
