Universal and Blumhouse’s upcoming film, The Invisible Man; has found its title character.

Oliver Jackson-Cohen, from The Haunting of Hill House; had been brought on for the project, which will begin production this month in Sydney, Australia. Jackson-Cohen joins Elisabeth Moss, Aldis Hodge, Harriet Dyer, and Storm Reid. Reports say that the filmmakers behind The Invisible Man were impressed by the actor’s role as Luke Crain in the Netflix series.

Once upon a time, a universe consisting of these legendary horror monsters was in play. Johnny Depp was meant to play the character. Those days are long gone, but it seems Blumhouse is trying to revive it with this new generation of talent. We’re interested to see how Jackson-Cohen will take on this role and as we find out more, we will let you know!

What do you think about this casting?
