Ray Fisher Says Despite Rumors He Is Still CYBORG

Ray Fisher posted a poem on his Twitter page a few days ago and of course the internet did what the internet does best and start spreading rumors that Ray was done as Cyborg and done with the DCU. Joe Morton must not have gotten the memo that Ray was done as Cyborg because he was talking about unused Justice League footage being used in the stand alone Cyborg film. Warner Bros. has not come out and said they are doing a solo Cyborg film but they also have not said Ray’s days are over in the DCU either. Ray Fisher finally came out today to squash the rumors, something several DC cast members and directors have had to do lately. Ray took to Twitter to say the following:

Ray is not the first and I am sure not the last to have to go on social media and shut down click bait articles and rumors. Matt Reeves, James Wan, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, David Sandberg, and Zachary Levi are just some of the cast members and directors who have had to shutdown rumors on social media. So for the time being Ray Fisher is still the DCU Cyborg. The DC Universe streaming app announced that they have cast First Purge actor Jovian Wade as Cyborg for its series Doom Patrol.

How do you feel about Ray speaking out? Do you think it is good they speak up or do you think they should not have to? Leave us a comment below.
