‘The Punisher’ Season Two Wraps Filming

Pack up your guns, everyone, The Punisher season two has officially wrapped. According to an Instagram post by Jason R. Moore, who plays Frank’s friend Curtis Hoyle; filming has officially finished. The second season to the explosive first season was lastly filming in Albany, NY which promised some truly crazy scenes. And based on other behind the scenes photos, the show has seemed to up the ante in what we can expect.

In the first season of The Punisher, Curtis served as one of Frank’s most trusted friends. Probably one of the only people who knew Castle was still alive, the corpsman held a group for veterans plagued with PTSD, and still remained friends with Billy after their time served together. Curtis is a true definition of a friend, keeping Frank’s secrets, and trying desperately to help Lewis, a member of his group who unfortunately goes off the deep end. We last see Curtis welcoming Frank into his group and encouraging him to finally talk about how he feels now that his mission to exact revenge on all those who had a part in killing his family is over.

Not only has Moore returned as Curtis, but Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani, and Royce Johnson as Brett Mahoney. Oh and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (duh). There hasn’t been any official announcement if Ebon Moss-Bachrach returns as David Lieberman or Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page. Newcomers to the series are Josh Stewart as John Pilgrim, Floriana Lina as Krista Dumont, and Giorgia Whigham as Amy Bendix.

The Punisher season two is expected to be released early 2019. Iron Fist season two will premiere September 7th of this year and Daredevil season three is expected to come out later on this year. Personally, I can’t wait for The Punisher to premiere its second season, it’s been too long without Frank Castle!
