Zack Snyder is making himself quite busy these days. With ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ arriving on HBO Max next month and ‘Army of the Dead’ dropping on Netflix some time later this year, and it appears that he may be planning his next project already.
In an interview with ‘I Minutemen’ Snyder had this to say:
“I’m working on something, but we’ll see… I’ve been thinking about some kind of retelling, like real sort of fateful retelling, that Arthurian kind of Mythological concept. We’ll see. Maybe that will come at some point.”
He didn’t offer much else in the terms of story or concept, so it can be assumed that this idea is very early in the brainstorming phase. One thing is for sure though, there will definitely not be a shortage of Zack Snyder content following next month’s release of the storied ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’. Whether he is able to move forward on a Justice League 2 or whether he continues lending is signature visual dynamics to other projects, fans of the director (such as myself) can be content that he is going to stay busy.
