Senior Writer at GeekVibesNation - I am a 50 something child of the 70’s who admits to being a Star Trek/Star Wars/Comic Book junkie who once dove head first over a cliff (Ok, it was a small hill) to try to rescue his Fantastic Four comic from a watery grave. I am married to a lovely woman who is as crazy as I am and the proud parent of a 18 year old boy with autism. My wife and son are my real heroes.

With the upcoming digital release of Avengers: Infinity War, the remaining three people who haven’t watched it can see what the fuss was all about. Spoiler alert: “It’s over in a snap…which is pretty good for a movie that is two and a half hours long. For those of us who have seen it, we can once again enjoy the Hulk’s two minute appearance before he hides inside Banner like a broken whack-a-mole who refuses to come out. I guess after being the Grandmaster’s champion, it hurts the pride when you’re slapped about like Loki was in the Avengers. One wonders…

After a legal settlement between Lantern Capital Partner and Frank Miller, Miller has regained the television rights to develop his 1991 Noir comic Sin City. Miller also regained  the film rights to the first 2005 Sin City film adaptation that starred Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, and Mickey Rourke. The rights were originally tied up in the sale of Harvey Weinstein’s, The Weinstein Company, to Lantern Capital as part of his bankruptcy. Miller had objected to his work being part of the settlement so the parties worked out an arrangement where the TV rights and the first film would not be included and be transferred…

It’s all over. The votes are in and looking ahead, 2019 might be the biggest year ever for geeks like myself. Some of the biggest (and in “Game of Thrones” case, most awarded) TV shows of all time are coming to a close next year. 2019 will mark the end of “Game of Thrones”, “Gotham”, and possibly “Marvel’s Agents of Shield.” It will also see the end of the “Infinity War”saga with release of “Avenger’s 4” (or whatever they end up calling it). Perhaps the title will be: “Avengers 4: The quest to bring back all of the heroes we…

With production beginning on the 6th and probably final season of “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD,” what have we learned so far? We know that the title of the first episode of the 13 episode season is “Missing Pieces” and it is directed by the “Son of Coul” himself, Clark Gregg. This isn’t Gregg’s first time in the directors chair as he directed Season 5 episode “Fun and Games.” We also know that Jeff Ward has been signed as a series regular in his role as Fitzsimmons Grandson Zeke. More lemons for Quake it would seem. The fact that he hasn’t…

So with end of the SDCC, we have our first official “Shazam” trailer. Count me among those kind of relieved. I was among those who was somewhat skeptical with the casting of Zachary Levi to play Captain Mar…excuse me, I meant “Shazam.” You have to understand, I’m a child of the 70’s whose first introduction to “Shazam/Captain Marvel” was from the old CBS TV show: “The Shazam!/Isis Hour.” In fact, I pretty much realized my future wife was cool when she admitted to being a huge fan of “Isis.” To this day I think she still believes if she puts…
