On Game of Thrones, you have to hand it to the Lannisters. While some Houses are going the way of the Dodo, i.e. The Freys almost the Tarleys, the House of Lannister endures. Tywin would be so proud of that. If you interpret what Nikolaj Coster-Waldau says, it’s possible they make it through to the end. In an interview with the Huffington Post, Waldau explains: “It was a surprise,” Nikolaj Coster-Waldau tells HuffingtonPost. “God, every time we got a new script I thought, ‘OK, this is probably going to be the one.’ But no. The Lannister kids made it to the…

The last time we saw Karl Urban he was fighting back Hela’s dead legion with his friends Des and Troy on Thor Ragnarok. These days, Urban is having to discuss the status of The 4th Star Trek movie and if it will get made. At a recent Star Trek convention Trekonderoga (via Trek Movie), Urban seemed confident he’ll reprise his Star Trek role of Dr. Leonard McCoy in future installments. “Hopefully, we get back for another movie, or two of them. We are just sort of waiting on negotiations. I’m confident we will. It is really hinging on the availability and the contract negotiations…

It just goes to follow that if you film scenes for a movie that are supposed to take place in Prague, you eventually will go there, if possible. Based on a report from the Prague Reporter, that is exactly what Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios, Spider-Man: Far From Home is doing now as they are filming scenes in the Czech Republic this month. The majority of the principal photography  has occurred in London, which included some set pieces that were supposed to represent Prague. Thus it makes sense for the production to go there for authenticity and for the film makers…

When Norman Reedus isn’t killing zombies in The Walking Dead, he is an avid motorcycle rider. Thus it comes as no surprise that if given a chance to play a Marvel character, he would play Ghost Rider or perhaps even the Silver Surfer. Reedus was asked which Marvel role he’d take during a recent Walker Stalker Cons: An Evening with Norman & Jeffrey’ event. These are events where he appears alongside Walking Dead co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan to answer fan’s questions. He replied: “Ghost Rider would be fun. Silver Surfer would be fun. Silver Surfer is awesome.” The connection to…

When we last got together, we had discussed the first actor who played The Mountain. After the first season of Game of Thrones was completed and as Season 2 approached, the casting for the “Mountain” became an issue as the actor who played the role (Conan Stevens) in Season 1 was working on other projects and was unavailable. Fortunately, they found a stopgap solution for Season 2 right on their set, as the “Mountain” saga continues (sounds like a soap opera intro): In Season 2, Ser Gregor is left to command Harrenhal in Tywin’s absence and to find and destroy…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”4577″ img_size=”1000×700″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text] As work continues on the number of different DC shows that will appear on the new DC streaming service, executive producer Geoff Johns discussed how his StarGirl series will be tonally different  from the other DC shows Titans and Doom Patrol. Although that doesn’t necessarily negate an intertwining of shows, as Johns tells Comicbookresources: “For me, Stargirl was its own show with the Justice Society. That doesn’t mean we wouldn’t eventually do something, but the goal is just to make a great Stargirl show right now, and — if it happens to interconnect in the future with other things — great.” As…

The busiest man in Hollywood is doing what he always does, work. In this case he is filming his latest entry in what Disney hopes will be their next successful ride-based series that will follow in the footsteps of Pirates of the Caribbean. Disney’s Jungle Cruise will tell the story of a jungle boat captain named Frank (played by The Rock) who takes a brother and sister (Whitehall and Emily Blunt) on a mission through the jungle in search of a tree with reported magical healing powers. As one might expect in a jungle, they encounter many different animals and also encounter…
