The reviews for Shane Black’s The Predator are out! Comicbook.com rounded up some reviews for the new film that you can read here and from what I can read, it is looking like a fun movie to go see. The cast includes Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Thomas Jane as Baxley, Alfie Allen, and Sterling K. Brown. With a star-studded cast and a great looking trailer, I’m not surprised at the reviews. “Taking up the reins of the franchise after a few underwhelming sequels and an even more problematic handful of tie-ins with the Alienmovies,…

Reshoots are normal. Most films have them. When Marvel was given the green-light for Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, reshoots were needed to go back in and insert Peter Parker’s scene within the film. It seems now that the cast and crew of Avengers 4 are going back in for reshoots, which according to Mark Ruffalo, is to finish the rest of the movie. “Well we’re doing reshoots starting in September,” Ruffalo said in an interview recently, “And then we’ll go back into the international tour, we’ll go on tour. Then you guys will get the second installment. Which…

Spider-Man: Far From Home has been told to take place minutes after the events of Avengers 4. Though we don’t know what will transpire in Avengers 4, we do know (or hope) that Peter Parker comes back, considering he was turned to dust in Infinity War. In Far From Home, we know that Parker will be out of his normal neck of the woods, considering filming for the movie has taken place in London, Czech Republic, and all over Europe. Nick Fury and Maria Hill also join him, as well as a rumor that Pepper Potts will be there as…

In order to do a Star Trek movie, you need a Captain Kirk. Chris Pine has been excelling in his role as the Enterprise’s captain for three previous film, but his involvement and a fourth movie altogether, is up in the air. It had previously been reported that he and Chris Hemsworth were out. While I would have enjoyed Hemsworth in a fourth installment, it was even more daunting that Pine was not going to be in it. What would they have done? Have Zachary Quinto’s Spock command the ship or re-cast? Either way, it wouldn’t have felt much like…

Netflix’s Narcos just released a new teaser trailer for their upcoming fourth season. In my humble opinion, the first two were the best. Starring Boyd Holbrook (The Predator, Logan) and Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones, Wonder Woman 1984), Narcos followed the true story of detectives Stephen Murphy and Javier Pena as they traveled down to Columbia to put an end to the king of drug trafficking, Pablo Escobar. Masterfully portrayed by Wagner Moura, Moura’s performance as Escobar really tied everything together and we saw in the third season how weak the show was without him. While Pascal is a good…

Let’s get down to business! Sorry, whenever I think of Mulan, I can’t help, but think of one of the most well-known songs from the 1998 animated classic Disney movie. Currently shooting in New Zealand and China, the live-action adaptation features Liu Yifei as Mulan and according to a source, there will be music featured. This is contradicting an earlier statement from the director Niki Caro who responded to a rumor of no songs being in the film, when talking to Moviefone: “Yes, from what I understand, no songs right now, much to the horror of my children.” Another tidbit…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”5118″ img_size=”1000×562″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]It is unfortunate that I have to report that cultural icon Burt Reynolds has passed away. Known for Deliverance, Smokey and the Bandit, The Cannonball Run, and Boogie Nights, and for being the fictional character Archer’s idol, Reynolds has had a long career not only starring in movies and television, but for essentially being one of the most well-known Hollywood personalities. No matter what age you are or what your favorite genre of cinema is, you know who Burt Reynolds is, which makes this even more shocking. Per Reynold’s manager Erik Krtizer, Reynolds died at Jupiter Medical…

Perhaps just as exciting as the first look at Brie Larson’s debut as Captain Marvel, are details surrounding Jude Law’s mysterious character. In a new feature by EW, we see Jude Law’s character standing side by side with Carol Danvers. Though we still don’t know the character’s name, Law did reveal in this feature about the drives of this Kree warrior: “He is driven by a belief in the divine leadership of the Kree people,” Law said. “So he’s almost a devout warrior — unquestioning, conservative, but inspirational.” The viewers first got a glimpse of the Kree race in the…

We are literally one day away from the second season premiere of Iron Fist and who knows how long until Daredevil season three. We know that Daredevil is coming out this year and that we are getting a panel this New York Comic Con. We don’t have a release date yet. But, we do now have a small piece of cryptic promotion. Below you can see the Marvel Twitter’s post, which features a missing sign for Matt Murdock, who as we know was seriously injured from the events of The Defenders – although, those close to him all believe that…

We are a little more than a week away from the premiere of Shane Black’s The Predator, but there seems to have already been some controversy surrounding a certain cast-mate. Steven Wilder Striegel is a friend of Black’s and was cast in a very small scene with Olivia Munn. Twentieth Century Fox then received a letter urgently instructing them to delete his scene, for Striegel is a registered sex offender. Striegel pleaded guilty in 2010 for attempting to lure a 14-year-old into a sexual relationship via online. This deeply disturbing information was brought forth to Fox by Munn, who claims…
