DC Universe’s upcoming Doom Patrol added another recognizable face to its cast. Not too long ago we reported that Brendan Fraser had been cast as Robotman. Now, we can announce that Alan Tudyk has been brought in as Mr. Nobody. Tudyk has had a long list of cinematic achievements, such as Firefly, Dollhouse, and most recently a cameo in Deadpool 2. We’re now officially a week away from the premiere of the second season of Netflix’s Iron Fist. What looks like a vast improvement on the first season, Danny Rand’s journey picks up from last we saw him in The Defenders. With Daredevil presumably dead (though we know he isn’t), Danny must take up the mantle of protector of the city. The dark undertones and violence will set it apart from other comic-book movies. Poor Peter Parker. As if he didn’t have a hard enough time in Avengers: Infinity War, it seems that his sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home, will be full of villains. So far, we have Mysterio, Vulture, Chameleon, and Hydro-Man (rumor), but the bad guys aren’t stopping. This is just a rumor, but there’s a possibility we could see Mark Raxton aka Molten Man. This rumor comes from a Molten Man figure that will apparently be included in a LEGO set that’s being put into production for the upcoming film. I never thought when I began watching HBO’s Game of Thrones that Jaime Lannister would go on to be one of my favorite characters on the show. Long-time comic-book writer and colorist Marie Severin has passed away at the age of 89. I felt it appropriate to highlight this loss, as she was a pioneer who broke into the industry in the 40s. Robert Downey Jr. is ageless. To prove that, the Hollywood Reporter tweeted out test footage of Downey for the original Iron Man movie. Iron Man one was released ten years ago and is what started off the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
