[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”3489″ img_size=”735×385″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]I had previously been excited to announce that Star Trek: The Next Generation alum Brent Spiner had been cast in CW’s Supergirl for an important role. Now, I have the misfortune of reporting that Spiner has to exit the television show, due to some family issues. Spiner was meant to play the Vice President, who would have to step up in a time of need, which to us indicates that something happens to the president in Supergirl. Supergirl has instead cast Bruce Boxleitner as Vice President Baker. Baker is politically minded and will need to step up…

Amazon was supposed to be working on the show, but after the firing of Amy Powell, everything has come to a stand-still. Series writer Paul Scheer likens Galaxy Quest to the return of Star Wars, stating: “We want to create this kind of thing that feels like this epic sequel, but a continuation. I compared it to what The Force Awakens is to Star Wars. It is continuing a story but bringing in new characters,” he said. “My pitch for Galaxy…

The internet was made for all. It’s a platform for everyone to express themselves and connect with like-minded people. Unfortunately, sometimes the powers of the internet are used for bad things, such as spewing hate. For some reason, fans of certain things feel a need to condemn actors and actresses being cast in their favorite projects, to the point where it either forces a person to deactivate their comment sections or their social media profiles altogether. This was the case for Star Wars star Kelly Marie Tran, who left social media platforms after an onslaught of racism and bigotry was…

Entertainment just announced the second book to the successful first one, which showcases Stan Lee himself managing an office of superhero staff members. You can find this book on www.therealstanlee.com, where they will release one chapter every Tuesday and Thursday. It’s a whacky kind of series that really has multiple opportunities to get creative considering it’s in an office setting and involves superheroes. Great for all ages! [vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Marvel recently released a preview for Venom #5 that showcased a new talent of Eddie Brock’s. Venom’s new symbiotic powers take flight, as he suddenly sprouts wings and flies him and Miles Morales to safety. I have to say, the new power looks awesome, as they’re very akin to bat wings and you can see the veins and lines from them. It’s possible this is something Eddie and his symbiote learned from Knull, who had the power to manifest his symbiote into a giant dragon. It’s clear there’s a lot Eddie has to learn and that the possibilities could be…

Could anyone be more excited about the upcoming season of The Punisher than me? I don’t think so. Having wrapped a little over two weeks ago, the internet has been full of behind the scenes filming pictures and video. We’ve seen Ben Barnes as Billy Russo going up against Frank Castle. We’ve seen the pictures from Albany, where it seems an ambulance is literally going to drop off a bridge, and we’ve even seen the return of Brett Mahoney. There are so many goodies and now that filming is wrapped, hopefully, we’ll be getting more official footage. According to some…
