For the week of June 23rd, we have some incredible releases making their way to our shelves. This week, in the world of new theatrical films, we have the latest installment in the blockbuster animated series The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio courtesy of Universal. The film features the vocal talents of Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, and more, and it includes an array of featurettes.
Lionsgate brings the beloved horror franchise sequel Scream 4 to 4K UHD Blu-Ray with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio, along with new and archival special features including a commentary track, featurettes, and more. This is not your only source for thrills, as Warner Bros. has the epic Arnold Schwarzenegger action outing Eraser debuting on 4K UHD Blu-ray with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio from a new restoration. The release comes with two new retrospective featurettes.
Adam Sandler has a pair of fan-favorite comedies debuting on 4K UHD Blu-Ray courtesy of Sony. He first reunites with Drew Barrymore in the memory-loss rom-com 50 First Dates, and we follow that up with technology-driven hijinks in Click. Both films are presented in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio, and they include their archival featurettes.

It is a strong month for Vinegar Syndrome and OCN Distribution releases as we dive into an array of 4K UHD and Blu-Ray releases. First up, the main slate has the 4K UHD debut of the American remake of Nightwatch starring Ewan McGregor, Patricia Arquette, Josh Brolin, and Nick Nolte. The release has been restored in 4K from the Original Camera Negative with Dolby Vision, and it includes a commentary track, interviews, and a video essay. They also have the French thriller Without Apparent Motive starring Jean-Louis Trintignant newly restored on Blu-Ray with some supplemental interviews.
Cinematographe has a big month with a double dose of 4K UHD debuts from beloved American filmmakers. Early William Friedkin drama The Boys in the Band has been newly restored in 4K from the 35mm Original Camera Negative with Dolby Vision. The release comes with two commentary tracks, interviews, video essays, and more. They also have the Robert Altman picture Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, newly restored in 4K from the 35mm Original Camera Negative with Dolby Vision. The drama starring Sandy Dennis, Cher, and more includes two commentary tracks, video essays, and more.
During Partners Only month, we have a barrage of amazing titles, especially when it comes to international cinema. Master filmmaker Jafar Panahi delivered the blistering drama Crimson Gold early in his career, which KimStim is now giving us on Blu-Ray. The Palestinian refugee crime drama To a Land Unknown hits the format thanks to Watermelon Pictures. We also have Film Movement with the Academy Award-nominated Theeb returning to Blu-Ray, alongside the recent drama Sometimes I Feel Like Walking and the German western revenge tale The Dark Valley.
The label also brings us the outrageous documentary Wadd: The Life & Times of John C. Holmes on Blu-Ray, which looks at the life of the adult film star. ETR Media returns with another title for video game fans, as we delve into the docuseries Nintendo 64 Quest, in which a man attempts to collect all Nintendo 64 games over the course of a few weeks without the use of the internet.
Horror fans have a few titles to look out for, including the psychological road trip nightmare Drive Back from Dark Sky. Queer horror gets an interesting new addition to the pantheon with The Serpent’s Skin, which is making its debut thanks to the label. There is also a subversion of the home invasion genre with the trippy feminist survival tale Lucky from Shudder.
