When Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse won the Golden Globe last night for best animated film, one of the first to offer their congratulations was Insomniac Games. Apparently, Into the Spiderverse is not the only Spider-Man vehicle kicking but and taking names. In a Sony press release the Company revealed that Spider-Man for the PS4 had just surpassed the 9 million sold mark with Holiday sales possibly pushing it over 10 million plateau. Monthly Mystery Subscription Box Featuring The Greatest Video Game Franchises Insomniac acknowledged the report with a tweet thanking the fans for their continued support: https://twitter.com/jamesstevenson/status/1082442871804878848?s=21 Have those of you…

Thus when Venom made a cool $855 million worldwide, the only question was when Sony would put the wheels in motion to make it happen. Some of those questions have been started to come into focus. Variety reports that Kelly Marcel, who was one of the screenwriters for Venom has been pegged to write the script for the sequel. In addition to her scripting chores, she will also be one of the Executive Producers…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”12813″ img_size=”520×347″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]When Gene Roddenberry created Star Trek back in 1966, he was willing to take on subjects once considered taboo to television audiences. This was carried on in its future versions as The Next Generation, Deep Space 9, Voyager, Enterprise and the new Star Trek Discovery all have taken on subjects once thought unapproachable. I don’t remember any of them ever taking on the subject of porn addiction. This is the basis for the second episode of season 2, of The Orville. As the episode begins, the USS Orville is in orbit around an expanding red supergiant star. As…

Apparently I am living proof of that because until just recently, I had no idea that M. Night Shyamalan’s 2000 film Unbreakable was anyway connected to his 2016 film Split. I only knew that I liked Unbreakable when it came out. It starred Bruce Willis and Sam Jackson…what’s not to like. I also liked 2016’s Split as James MacAvoy absolutely ruled the screen as Kevin Crumb. But I didn’t get the connection between the two. Until I saw the previews for Shyamalan’s Glass. There was Bruce Willis and Sam Jackson again…

They then come together, not to fight against each other but teamed up against an unknown adversary. This is the start of Year Zero and it held all kinds of promise, but then it jumped back to day 87 after Jeremiah made good on his claim to isolate Gotham from the rest of…

That is what Brie Larson tried to do with her time on the set of Avenger’s End Game. She also was a bit worried that knowing the secrecy that Marvel films are shrouded in, she might slip up and say something she shouldn’t. She expressed these feelings in a recent interview with USA Today. I just never wanted to feel like I was going to slip up or that I was going to say the wrong…

The original plan was for the actors to branch out in a spin-off show called: America’s Most Wanted. The pilot was made but unfortunately, ABC decided they would pass on the show. This left the characters of Bobbi and Lance floating in limbo in…
