Back into the city of Maine with Geek Girl issue #3 and this time, we have a more personal story which felt much more grounded with some cool action littered throughout all of which I feel, and hope is building up to an epic finale involving our returning villains who I want to see much more of. Plot Issue #3 Written and created by Sam Johnson with artwork from Carlos Granda, Chunlin Zhao, and Paul Mclaren was a nice change of pace from the 2 previous issues. It starts off action-packed enough, with Geek Girl and Neon Girl, who I’ll get…

Welcome back to Resurrected, the sci-fi, cop thriller that throws in some incredibly deep themes for good measure. The second installment is no different with some newer themes coming into the spotlight and a hell of a lot more kickass action to boot. This issue felt a little shorter to me but its most likely down to the breakneck speed this issue moves at, which might be a little jarring to some but if you can keep up with it, it makes for one hell of a thrill ride. Plot The second issue of Resurrected is once again written and…
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”8038″ img_size=”460×215″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Hello and welcome to my Review for Shadow of the Tomb Raider a game I have been waiting for, for so long and now that it’s finally here it’s even better than I could have imagined. There’s a lot to talk about with this game so let’s not waste any more time and get straight into this. Final Part of a Trilogy: Shadow of the Tomb Raider has quite a lot on its plate because it’s not only a self-contained Tomb Raider adventure but it’s also the final game in her new origin trilogy and lucky…
I have been lucky enough to read the first 6 pages of Identity Stunt Issue #4 in order to bring you this exclusive first look and its shaping up to be the most action-packed issue yet, which is saying a lot considering this is Identity Stunt we’re talking about. The official Plot synopsis for the issue is as follows: “The dawn is about to break and Sami Nasser’s adventure of a lifetime is about to come to its frenzied conclusion! Back-to-back with the unhinged vigilante, Beatdown, and surrounded by a legion of ganglord Dominus Smith’s horrors, “Sam” will stop at…
Experience the horror of free PS Plus Games 2018! Don’t miss out on the 7 titles available to download, like Friday the 13th, in the October lineup
Resurrected is a comic series that really gets the creative juices flowing. Whilst reading through the first issue I was constantly wondering what would actually happen if this was what our world was like and found my self-contemplating matters such as religion, faith, and morality throughout, which I’ll be honest I wasn’t expecting to do at 11 am on a Thursday morning. You take all those interesting ideas and questions and you wrap them up in a sci-fi thriller which still feels grounded in reality and add in a splash of classic “buddy-cop” action and you’ve got yourself a seriously…
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Coming straight out of Image Comics is an all-new gritty, graphic, chilling, and utterly entertaining horror comic series: JOOK JOINT by Tee Franklin (Who has previously worked on Bingo Love), and Alitha E. Martinez (Known for her work on Black Panther: World of Wakanda). I’ve been lucky enough to read a small preview of the JOOK JOINT before it hits store shelves in October and it is seriously cool. Definitely one for the adult readers amongst us, but if you’re looking for an intriguing horror store and you aren’t squeamish JOOK JOINT is one you’ll absolutely love. JOOK JOINT is set in the heart of the deep south an follows Mahalia, who…

Sony has officially announced the PlayStation Classic, a remaster of sorts of the original PS1 along with some titles the game will have, its official release date and even some of the specs of the console to get tech nerds and retro gamers such as myself to get extremely excited. The console officially releases December 3rd, 2018 in Japan, North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand and will be retailing for £89.99/$99.99 which isn’t as bad as I was expected to be fair. The PlayStation Classic will be in limited quantities however so if you want it you’ve got to be snappy…
So the Captain Marvel trailer dropped earlier today and honestly, this is the most intriguing Marvel trailer I’ve seen for quite some time. Don’t get me wrong movies like Infinity War obviously get us intrigued and have fans going insane with speculation but Captain Marvel has a certain element we haven’t seen recently in the MCU. Both the very alien aspect of the Kree and Skrulls and the less than familiar time zone of the 90’s. All recent Marvel films have been set in the modern day or up in space so Captain Marvel gets me very excited to see…
