D.J. Tanner-Fuller began the series much like her father did in the original…

According to test screening, Carol Danvers’s cat Goose was the stand-out star for the upcoming MCU film. Collider’s Steve Weintraub commented: “Hearing #CaptainMarvel screened. After it ended everyone was talking about the cat. Stole the show. Must. See. This. Movie. Stat.” While Carol’s cat in the comics is named Chewie after the Star Wars character Chewbacca, Goose is an obvious nod…

Gunn was let go by Marvel last year and he will surely bring his style of the Guardians of the Galaxy to the suicide Squad project; who you could argue is the DCEU’s version of the GotG. Misfits that no one has confidence in saving the world to the backdrop of a killer soundtrack? Yea, Gunn could do a…

Who is Matt Reeves? Well, he’s worked closely with other well-respected director J.J. Abrams on multiple projects in the past and in recent times, has successfully relaunched the Planet of the Apes franchise. Sitting down recently with THR, he was able to speak about his experience as a filmmaker and his hopes for this ambitious Batman film. There are plenty of goodies if you want to check…
For anyone who has binge-watched the Netflix series You, you’ll agree that the ending was jaw-dropping and shocking. The way they set up season two has everyone asking when the next installment in and even though season one ended off with Joe being confronted by *spoilers* his presumably dead ex-girlfriend, it seems that she won’t be the main female lead in the next chapter of this disturbing and cautionary thriller. Victoria Pedretti, you may best know as Nell Crain from another Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House; has been cast as a character named Love Quinn. Love will be…
Amazon Prime’s series Hanna may not be coming to the streaming service until March, but viewers will have a chance to view the first episode for 24 hours after the Superbowl on February 3rd. The series stars Joel Kinnaman as Erik, Mireille Enos as Marissa, and Esme Creed-Miles as Hanna. With new footage released, we can see the journey of Hanna and where it will take us, while giving off some serious X-23 vibes from Logan. As always, I’m happy to see Kinnaman and his character in action, but I was sad we didn’t get to see any of Enos’s…

This politically driven thriller stars Driver, Annette Bening, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Morrison, Michael C. Hall, Ted Levine, and Corey Stoll. The premise of The Report focused on Driver’s character, Senate staffer Daniel Jones; during his investigation into the spy agency’s “enhanced interrogation techniques” which roughly translates into torture methods. Jones then conjures up a 525-page report that assists in driving public support away from the CIA’s…
Hobbs & Shaw is a highly-anticipated spinoff of the Fast & Furious franchise starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham. With news coming in that we are to get the biggest, craziest showdown in the franchise ever in this upcoming film, Johnson also recently put out to the internet world who else he’d love to have on board this project. None other than Aquaman’s Jason Momoa. That’s right, probably one of the most well-known actors right now with a film that’s crushing expectations is the main pick for Johnson, who would want Momoa to come on board to play his brother.…

Probably one of the saddest things writers did to the Flash mythos was kill Wally West. And now we are living in the aftermath of Wally dead again and it’s simply painful. We know the burden that it has on Barry Allen and there is no better and perfect shot in this comic strip that Batman and Superman standing there, knowing they have to let this mission be something that Barry does on his own. There’s some comic relief with the inclusion of Impulse, but for the most part, this…

As I saw the cover being Marvin the Martian, I was immediately transported to my childhood days of sitting with my grandfather and watching Looney Tunes. What a beloved time and although since the classical age of this well-known series there have been new adaptations with updated illustration and different voice actors, reading this comic book brought me back to such episodes that you’d see on Boomerang. What else can I say except that this issue was a fun and…
