Telling the story of a video game character who no longer wanted to be the villain, Ralph and his unlikely partner Vanellope von Schweetz wiggled their ways into our hearts. Now, we’re looking at the sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet, which will debut November 21st of this year. John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman will return as Ralph and Vanellope, respectively. The story will see the story fighting to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush. Ralph Breaks the Internet…

With the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen reigning right now, we wonder what the future holds. The past week or so have been a rocky one, with both Iron Fist and Luke Cage having been canceled. While we don’t know if we are getting a fourth season of Daredevil, some of its stars have fun with who they’d like to see in a dream Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover. We doubt we’ll ever see the movie characters merge with the Netflix cast, but considering that Kingpin is originally a…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”8904″ img_size=”810×400″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]About two or three weeks ago, I wouldn’t even be considered as to whether or not Daredevil would get a fourth season. After releasing its best yet, the third season cements the series as the best in the Marvel Netflix universe. With now the demise of Iron Fist and Luke Cage, I’m not so sure. But, if we’re going on critics reviews and fan’s reactions, Daredevil is sure to get another season. And we already could be looking at the villain for it. Wilson Bethel’s portrayal of infamous Marvel villain Bullseye was something to be seen, but…

The third installment in the Thor franchise gave us Loki and Thor working together albeit not so elegant at times. For example, how could any of us ever forget the memorable “get help” moment, where Thor uses a common practice from their childhood to defeat some baddies. Much to Loki’s chagrin, Thor doesn’t mind his brother’s protests, and hurls the god of mischief towards oncoming men. Much like siblings bickering, this scene was hilarious and a tell-tale of how, despite their problems; the two are brothers…

As discussed in this week’s Top 10, the success of these shows really relies on its villains. Whereas the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a problem with memorable villains in the movie universe, the Netflix world has a high success rate with their baddies. Why is that? Simply put, how each show humanizes their antagonists. This is going to be a long article, so let’s go through the memorable ones and the note so memorable villains…

When Netflix announced that Iron Fist was canceled and would not return for a third season, we were slightly upset, but not entirely surprised. While its second season was a vast improvement on its first and I believe warranted the series a third season, but considering that we had thirteen episodes of a lackluster show and Finn Jones’s Danny Rand was one of the most criticized aspects of The Defenders; it’s completely plausible that the streaming service did not want to move forward and invest any more money in its production. It is a shame, as we know how much…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”8261″ img_size=”800×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Considering that Daredevil season three premiered just Friday, I will keep this review as free from spoilers as I possibly can. If you do not feel like reading even hints towards plotlines in the third season, I would suggest reading this article at another time. Obviously, I want to be considerate of those who have not binged all thirteen episodes, but my excitement over the show might trump that. Already from the trailers, we knew this season would be elevated to a plane we had not seen before in the Daredevil franchise. While I hail season two…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”8263″ img_size=”800×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]If you haven’t watched Daredevil season three yet, BIG SPOILERS! Daredevil season three takes place after The Defenders, where Matt Murdock teamed up with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand. Considering filming for the third season took place before Iron Fist and Luke Cage felt Thanos’s finger snap of death, there could have been a possibility that at least one Defenders would show up. Or at least The Punisher, considering the two’s close connection in season two. At least, we were hoping? Alas, no luck. Karen and Matt mention Frank Castle’s name and Jessica Jones’s name…

The first was an enjoyable ride and the trailer to season two looks like it’s going to top its first. Following along Neil Gaiman’s American Gods novel, we see the main character Shadow Moon as he is roped into a war between the gods of the old world and the new, which origin stories explaining how deities from ancient Norse, Egyptian, Slavic, etc. mythology came to the United States. If you were hoping that at some point…

And it sounds like he wants to get in on the whole superhero niche, which we would all be happy to let him do. Cranston has stayed in the past that he would love a chance to play Mister Sinister and as the years have gone on, he’s expressed that his desire to portray the villain has not diminished: “I want to play an antagonist a fraction smarter than the protagonist, never dumbed down…
