‘Suicide Squad’ Director David Ayer Sets the Record Straight on Timeline Inconsistency

I know we are all really excited about Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, but let’s turn our attention to the other Joker existing in the movie-universe. It was confirmed that the reason why Jared Leto’s Joker has a grill in his mouth is due to Batman literally knocking his teeth out, after the villain murdered one of Batman’s Robins. We also see proof that Robin was killed in Batman vs Superman, where Bruce Wayne kept Robin’s costume, which clearly had the joker’s mocking graffiti all over it. A fan pointed out, though; an inconsistency with this whole theory. In the flashback scene

‘Suicide Squad’ Director David Ayer Says Theatrical Release Was Different Than His Version

Cue the #ReleaseTheAyerCut movement, because Suicide Squad director David Ayer recently took to the internet to discuss his movie, which received very mixed reviews. While I certainly enjoyed the movie, there were many who didn’t and it seems that what we saw in theaters was vastly different than what the director had intended it to be. Two different characters. Harley’s arc was vastly simplified. For the small majority of us who really enjoyed the first Suicide Squad, you’ll be happy to know that according to writer Todd Stashwick, the script for the sequel has officially been completed. The movie centering around the Worst Heroes Ever wasn’t received too well by critics, but I still stand by my opinion that it was a solid film. Albeit some things they could improve on, but all in all, stronger than some films in the DCEU. No matter how you feel about it and no matter how delayed it is, it’s still happening according to Stashwick. “We have

This film centered around a group of well-known criminals within the DC Universe who are brought together as an unlikely group of heroes that need to save the world. Surprisingly, the Joker is not the main villain in the film, something
