Senior Writer at GeekVibesNation - I am a 60 something child of the 70’s who admits to being a Star Trek/Star Wars/Comic Book junkie who once dove headfirst over a cliff (Ok, it was a small hill) to try to rescue his Fantastic Four comic from a watery grave. I am married to a lovely woman who is as crazy as I am and the proud parent of a 21-year-old young man with autism. My wife and son are my real heroes.

In the original Halloween, Nick Castle played the role of “The Shape” spending most of that time in the iconic Michael Myers mask. While he set the blueprint for the sequels that followed, Castle admitted that was not his main motivation to take on the job. He stated that the only reason he originally accepted the opportunity was for a chance to see for himself what goes into film direction. Castle shared this information with ComicBook.com: “My only reason for being on the set was to kind of demystify the directing experience for me, because [director] John [Carpenter] was a pal, they…

With the end of HBO’s popular Game of Thrones coming next year, as most fans know by now, HBO is keeping its Game of Thrones saga going after the show wraps its final season. That will be taking the form of an upcoming prequel series, which will be set in the ancient days of Westeros, during the era known as “The Long Night.” With this in mind, the schedule for beginning work on the prequel has been tentatively scheduled. Omega Underground  has reported that production on the yet un-named Game of Thrones prequel could begin in February 2019. Locations will include Belfast,…

Mega-City One is in pre-production mode to becoming a TV series pilot with a script by writer Rob Williams. While Urban…

New Line earlier in the year announced plans to move forward with a third installment in their horror franchise, Annabelle. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return to their roles as supernatural investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. With the final season of Game of Thrones approaching sometime next year (exactly when is anyone’s guess) everyone has a theory about how it will end. That includes the Man with the Iron Fist, Finn Jones. Of course he has a unique vantage point as he played a part in the Game of Thrones. Before Jones was the “Immortal Iron Fist, protector of K’un-Lun, sworn enemy of the Hand”, he was Ser Loras Tyrell of Westeros who went up in green flame when Cersei took her revenge on…well just about everybody. This was in season six of Game of Thrones, so although…

With this being the last season of Gotham, it is pretty much common knowledge where this is going. Bruce is going to finalize his transition into Batman by the end of Season 5, which inevitably means he’s going to be getting all the iconic trappings of the job. This includes the Batcave, which will be getting an all-new look and location this time around (minus the labels on everything I would imagine). The cave beneath Wayne Manor has been seen on more than one occasion through the series. Bruce and Alfred explored it one point earlier on and it was revisited…

When the subject of Star Wars and Power Rangers comes up, I’ve never really ever thought about comparing them. They both have been around for some time with Star Wars originating in 1977 and Power Rangers in 1993. Each have their fans but as far as comparisons go, that’s as far as it went, for me at least. However, in Power Ranger’s producer Adi Shankar’s mind, there is clearly a better franchise and it’s name is NOT Star Wars. Shankar delivered his own take on the Power Rangers franchise at “Power Morphicon”when he compared the franchise to Star Wars,…
