After sixteen seasons, one of the most popular adult cartoons next to South Park is getting their own movie. While the movie has no release date or even a plot, it is reported that both Seth MacFarlane and Mila Kunis are on board to reprise their roles as Peter Griffin (Stewie and Brian) and Meg Griffin, respectively. Throughout the years, Family Guy has been known for…
The Flash has included a lot of speedsters in its four-season run. Keiynan Lonsdale first began his character’s story arc as Wally West, Iris’s younger brother. In the third season, West finally became Kid Flash and his performance as Kid Flash was widely praised. Which, was why it was so shocking for the character to take a hiatus during season four and appear on Legends of Tomorrow. Where, he was also praised. Unfortunately, for fans, Lonsdale depart LOT and it looks like he will be wrapping up as Wally West in season five of The Flash. According to showrunner Todd…

Abrams love child has officially been renewed for a second season. Starring Bill Skarsgard, the show takes place in the Stephen King multiverse and is the most successful first season content for Hulu. This really is no surprise at all, not only is the show helmed by Abrams, but Skarsgard is wildly popular and talented. Of course, this would bring in a huge audience and with how positively it’s been received, a second season was only a…
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2690″ img_size=”768×433″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]There is no denying that Tessa Thompson is an icon right now. From her role as Charlotte Hale in Westworld, Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok, Bianca Porter in Creed I and II, Detroit in Sorry to Bother You, and her upcoming role as Agent M in the Men in Black movie, Thompson is huge. You get that. And you want her to keep succeeding because Thompson makes every movie and TV show she’s in better. Here’s an honorable mention, she’s fantastic across from Alexander Skarsgard in War on Everyone on Netflix and even though Annihilation was most likely…
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Are you hyped for The Gifted season two? After Fox’s newly released trailer for the second season, you should be. From what it seems in the video, we’re going to see a real dilemma for our young Mutants. As is most the philosophical theme in X-Men movies, those in the Gifted will have to make the conscious decision whether to align themselves with the Mutant Underground or the Hellfire Club’s Inner Circle. On top of those in the Mutant Underground contending with the Inner Circle, they’ll also have to deal with the overly religious group The Purifiers. As with any…
You had to see this coming, didn’t you? We are in the era of reboots. Anything that once was is getting either a sequel twenty something years later or rebooted entirely. Now, I’m not complaining. There are many times that it actually works. The first Jurassic World brought back some wonderful memories of Jurassic Park, while still being new. And yes, I did enjoy Jurassic World 2. I’m not going to go into just all of the examples of reboots that worked and didn’t work. Let’s talk about the fact that one of the horror movies that made you cry…
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Nun is a spin-off film from The Conjuring that promises to be more terrifying than anything that we have ever seen before. While in this era it’s not uncommon to see spin-off movies from popular films, it is new that a horror movie would earn the same treatment. From The Conjuring, we got Annabelle, a story about a demonic doll that will also be seeing another addition to its own franchise next year. The Nun’s plot involves a priest and a novice sent to Romania to investigate the suicide of a nun at the Carta Monastery. This nun is…
For one of my film classes in college, our professor decided to perform a small experiment. He brought up on the projection screen several movies. The likes of Legally Blonde, Not Another Teen Movie, another fairly “girly” film, and the Hurt Locker. He then asked the class to point out which films we thought were directed by a man and which ones were directed by a woman? Naturally, the whole class chose the Hurt Locker as the “manly” film and the others obviously had to be directed by all women. We were wrong. Very wrong. Because of our preconceived notions,…
It’s great when a show that the networks have turned their cheek on to find a new home on streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu. Luckily, for the show Lucifer; when Fox decided not to pick it back up, Netflix swooped in and saved the day. Despite having an 8.2/10 rating on IMDB, Lucifer didn’t seem to be on Fox’s radar and as we all know, Fox is notorious for canceling shows during their prime. For Lucifer fans, the most exciting news is that the team has officially started filming for their fourth season. Returning for ten episodes, Lucifer’s…
