On May 13th of this year, the world lost another Hollywood star. Margot Kidder was best known for her role as Lois Lane in the 1970s in the Superman film series across from Christopher Reeves’s Clark Kent. If you explore Kidder’s Wikipedia page, her filmography is extensive, including guest starring in two episodes of Smallville, the CW hit-show that was only surpassed by Supernatural for the number of seasons they had. We previously reported that based on a tweet by actor Rahul Kohli that iZombie would begin filming its fifth and final season. Everything seems to be underway now, with several of the show’s actors tweeting out pictures of themselves on set. Marvel’s The Punisher was no doubt, the most violent Netflix MCU show taking place within the Defenders Universe. It’s Frank Castle’s standalone series, did we expect anything less from the character who hung men from meat hooks and fired off buckshot rounds into an Irish mobster’s face in Daredevil season two? The show hadn’t even premiered yet, when it was pulled from NYCC and its release was delayed to the Las Vegas shooting, because viewers and executives knew how violent the series was. Despite all this, the violence in The Punisher has a purpose. Emmy nominated stunt coordinator Thom Williams…

How many times have we watched a film that had Oscar worthy emotional lines delivered and an epic storyline that should have been nominated, but was not because for some reason the Academy doesn’t like recognizing superhero based films. Off the top of my head, Heath Ledger winning an Oscar for his performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight is a rarity. Now, it seems like the door could be open for more films in the comic book realm to get the chance they…

Within the first few minutes of Deadpool 2, Ryan Reynolds had made it his mission to rub salt in still pretty fresh wounds. If you’ve seen the movie Logan, which was essentially Hugh Jackman’s love letter to fans, you know how it ended. And you know the pain of watching Wolverine, a character that we’ve watched for over a decade; die while his daughter Laura watched. Of course, typical Deadpool; turned our pain into laughter by showing us a musical toy of Wolverine on that spike at the beginning of the movie. Apparently, Ryan Reynolds did not want to be…

Now that I put that disclaimer up, let’s move right along. By now, you’ve probably heard about all the news surrounding James Gunn. Honestly, it’s giving me anxiety. First, Gunn was let go for inappropriate tweets he sent out a decade ago came back to the surface. The cast of Guardians of the Galaxy all band together to support Gunn and ask for his rehire for…
