A girl with too many fandoms to count.

Avengers: Infinity War has now been released on digital HD. Even though we have to wait until August 14th to purchase the film on Blu Ray and DVD, we can still through our money at Google Play and the Apple Store. The third installment in the Avengers franchise was filled with action, funny moments, fantastic visuals, and who can forget all the sad parts that we were subjected to? Below I’ve compiled some of the saddest scenes in the Avengers, but please feel free to let me know what saddened you the most in Infinity War. If you haven’t seen…

“The world has enough superheroes.” That is the tagline for the new Venom trailer, released only about an hour ago. What a great line to have that really sets the tone for what fans can expect when watching this movie. I just literally ran to watch the trailer and I have so many thoughts swirling in my mind right about now. Venom is a Sony production that is in association with Marvel; essentially maybe but not maybe existing within the MCU. We can perhaps pretend. Tom Hardy plays Eddie Brock, a journalist who becomes entangled with a secret lab experiment…

Andrew Lincoln’s announced departure from the hit show The Walking Dead came as a shock to most fans. While there was always a chance that Rick may not make it to the end of the series and Carl may take up the mantle, that concept was quickly scraped the moment they killed off Chandler Riggs’s character. You had to have some member of the Grimes family leading the show for it to still be TWD, right? Season 9 will be Andrew Lincoln’s last season and although we don’t know how the storyline will be without Rick Grimes, we do have…

The live-action adaptation of Image Comic’s Cowboy Ninja Viking has gained another role to its already great start. Starring opposite of Chris Pratt himself, actress Priyanka Chopra will be Pratt’s love interest in the film. While Chopra is mostly known for her roles on Quantico and Baywatch, she has been acting in Bollywood since 2001. Chopra reportedly landed the role after beating out several other actresses, due to her chemistry with Chris Pratt. Cowboy Ninja Viking is an interesting comic that centers around a man with multiple personalities. Pratt Duncan is then recruited by a secret government society and utilizes three…

We are still sometime away from the second season of American Gods, but luckily we already know the tone of the upcoming episodes of this Starz hit show. The network’s programming president Carmi Zlotnik stated that they had received the first few episodes of the season and that everything “looks fantastic.” It’s great to know that despite original showrunners Bryan Fuller and Michael Green no longer being involved that the show will still have the same feel it did in the previous season. Jesse Alexander and Neil Gaiman take over as the new showrunners. Alexander has other projects such as…

We all float here. It seems that the second chapter of the critically acclaimed IT movie has started filming. Last we saw the Losers club, they had just tussled with the dancing clown Pennywise. When released, this horror film remake was widely praised, especially Bill Skarsgard’s performance as the main character. Even I jumped a few times while watching it, enjoying the homage they paid to the original film while making it their own. The kids who were stars of the first film all worked well together, so it was a little disappointing to me to know that we would…

Despite the fact that The Punisher and Elektra received a lot of praise during their breakout in Daredevil season two, the second season of the Matt Murdock centered show was not received as positively as the first season. As much as I love this show, I have to agree with the critics. I loved the Frank Castle storyline, but besides that, Murdock’s arc wasn’t all that entertaining. And what they did with him and Foggy’s friendship at the end was a little unforgivable, but clearly a trend Marvel Netflix likes to partake in i.e. Jessica Jones season two. Although we…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It’s hard to think of anyone as the Merc with the Mouth other than Ryan Reynolds. Although he is pretty much Deadpool incarnate, there was once upon a time where it didn’t seem like we’d ever get a proper version of Wade Wilson. Reynolds is a great actor and sarcastically funny, but his rendition of the well-known superhero in X-Men Origins: Wolverine left much to be desired. With swords coming out of his knuckles, his mouth stitched up tight, and strange drawings on his body, this was not the version of Deadpool we were hoping for. This was neither the…

While Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist along with The Defenders were the original deal between Disney and Netflix, there’s a chance we could be getting more spin-off shows. Netflix’s Vice President Cindy Holland spoke at the TCA Summer Tour, expressing the openness for other Marvel shows. We can all attribute this essentially to Jon Bernthal’s performance as Frank Castle in Daredevil season two, launching the need for a separate Punisher series. Holland confirmed, “there’s always an ongoing discussion as to whether we will spin off additional characters.” While it’s highly unlikely that we’ll be getting a Ghost…

It’s rare for a fan-cast to turn up as the actual character, but for Batgirl fans, the spark is alive and shining bright. Castle Rock star Jane Levy says that she is honored to be considered as a true Barbara Gordon by fans. Although it’s reported that Batgirl won’t make an appearance in the upcoming Warner Bros. Birds of Prey movie, it seems that Levy would take any role in the DCU. “I don’t know who Huntress or Black Canary [are]. 100%, I’m in. Thank you for getting me a job. Yes, I’m in.” Levy told MTV during her SDCC…
