A few of my favorite things include my pet dragon (Drogon), Game of Thrones, Disney movies and theme parks, the MCU, DC movies, Star Wars, sports, and my rather large Funko Pop collection. Daenerys Targaryen is my queen, Robert Downey Jr is my man crush, and Simba is my spirit animal.

It’s not very often that you see an actor or actress jump from the Marvel Universe to DC, but it seems to look like Zazie Beetz is doing just that. The actress, who played Domino in Deadpool 2, has been linked to the Joker origin film for some time, and it’s finally looking like she might be confirmed for it. Beetz has been long speculated to join the movie by That Hashtag Show, and now it looks like we finally have some more information on who she will be playing. Sophie Dumond is supposedly going to be a love interest…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The first television spot for Aquaman was released earlier today, and while it is very similar to the trailer released at San Diego Comic Con, it does have some new images, primarily involving Mera and Arthur. Personally, it’s exciting whenever I start seeing TV spots, just because it means the movie is getting closer and closer. And while the trailer itself was epic, the TV spot isn’t anything to look down on either. You get a lot better views of the oceans and see how big of a role they’re going to play in the movie in the TV spot,…

One can bet that this season will be full of heartbreak and triumph, and plenty of amazing moments, as the cast has already made very clear. Sophie Turner, aka Sansa Stark, has gone on record saying that this season was the bloodiest and more heartbreaking of any other season, yes even season 3 (looking at you, Rains of Castermere).…

Earlier today, The Walt Disney Company held their Quarter 3 Shareholders Meeting, marking the first meeting since Disney acquired the rights to 20th Century Fox last month. Disney CEO Bob Iger answered shareholder’s questions, mostly pertaining to the rights to the dozens of intellectual properties Disney has just purchased. Another big topic of discussion was what Disney plans on doing with these IP’s and how they will affect the upcoming Disney streaming service. Of course, one of the biggest questions was what Disney plans to do with the specific properties of Deadpool, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four, in co-existence with…

The New York Times reported today that the last Marvel movie to be put on Netflix will be Ant Man and The Wasp, meaning that Captain Marvel will be the first MCU movie on the Disney streaming app! This is as big of a blow for Netflix as it is a win for Disney, since Netflix has had the rights to add the MCU movies to their library. But don’t fret yet, a Disney spokesperson has said that the titles on Netflix that fall under the Disney…

For the past few years, Disney has been on a kick of re-making animated classic movies into live action adaptations. From Cinderella to the Jungle Book, to Beauty and the Beast to most recently release, Christopher Robin. And Disney has revealed plans for many more live action films that are either in production or in the works. I know there are people out there who think Disney should stick to original content and not touch the classics, and I can 100% see their point; however, with the success of films like Beauty and the Beast and Christopher Robin, I’m slowly…

For as long as I can remember, superhero movies have come down to two brands: Marvel and DC. And since 2008, Marvel has dominated the conversation, even with Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight series. Once could say that DC hasn’t been helping themselves by trying to copy the MCU formula, and failing miserably. The Hollywood  Reporter just released an article talking about how DC seems to be going in a more standalone direction rather than trying to connect each film like Marvel does. However, there are people out there who believe that DC is going to try a new formula, and…

Winter is Coming. It’s a phrase, it’s the words of House Stark, it’s a fact, but most importantly, it’s the title of the pilot episode of what would become, arguably, the best show to ever grace our television sets, Game of Thrones. And it’s the launching point of this great journey you, Tia, and myself will be going on together. But mainly, it’s the first episode of Game of Thrones The episode itself is fantastic. It gives you a hint of what is to come: romance, hatred, character arcs, violence, and insane levels of tension for us viewers. What I love…

Actor Mark Gatiss surprisingly didn’t hold anything back when asked if he will be appearing in the show’s final season, saying “I’m not in it, so I guess I survive. Although they might mention off-hand that I’ve had my head bitten off by a dragon off-screen or something.” If this is true, one could…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1462″ img_size=”1920×1080″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_border” border_color=”black”][vc_column_text]These days The Walt Disney Company is synonymous with buying intellectual properties. Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and now 20th Century Fox, are examples of properties purchased by the top entertainment company in the world. However, Disney is now feeling a bit of seller’s remorse. Back in 2016, Disney sold certain rights to Star Wars to Turner Broadcasting, which enabled the cable television company to air the movies regularly on stations like TBS and TNT, and online. The deal’s expiration date is sometime in 2024. Since that deal, Disney has released 3 Star Wars movies, with another…
