A few of my favorite things include my pet dragon (Drogon), Game of Thrones, Disney movies and theme parks, the MCU, DC movies, Star Wars, sports, and my rather large Funko Pop collection. Daenerys Targaryen is my queen, Robert Downey Jr is my man crush, and Simba is my spirit animal.

Normally, it would take a year to get from season to season; however, we’ve eclipsed that time frame. It’s been 381 days since we’ve seen the Army of the Dead walking past the Wall, since Jaime rode North alone, and since Jon and Dany had boat sex. That’s too long. Fans, especially me, are itching to find…

Game of Thrones returned to the awards show with a whooping 22 nominations, the most of any show, including all 3 Lannister siblings being nominated (Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). However, this year Thrones had some tougher competition. With titles like The Americans, The Handmaid’s Tale, and This is Us going against Thrones, the drama category was rather packed. Now, while the show won 7 Emmys during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards earlier…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The wait is finally over. Since April 27th, fans have speculated and theorized, made fan art, and waited for the first look at the Captain Marvel movie. And now, the wait is over. The trailer has landed, literally, as it was revealed on Good Morning America at an Air Force station. While it was not anything near the Infinity War trailer, it was still pretty damn amazing. It was arguably the least revealing trailer Marvel has put out in a long time, as it really didn’t spoil much of anything. As someone who isn’t very familiar with Captain Marvel, I…

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”5776″ img_size=”800×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Think about the most epic moment in Game of Thrones history. Some might choose Cersei blowing up the Sept of Baelor in the season 6 finale. Some might think of Drogon, Viserion, and Rhaegal wreaking havoc during the Loot Train attack in season 7. But mostly everyone thinks about the Battle of the Bastards. I don’t even have to tell you the season, the episode, or any context. When you hear “The Battle of the Bastards”, you know it’s Thrones. (For the record, it’s season 6, episode 9, Jon and the Stark forces retaking Winterfell against Ramsay…

It’s time for another edition of “You Win or You Die” and this time, I’m going to be talking about the Lady of Winterfell, Sansa Stark. Sansa has been through hell in this show. She’s easily had the worst treatment, from being tormented by Joffrey, to being forced to marry Tyrion, then being raped and abused by Ramsay. Ultimately, Sansa is freed by Brienne and returns home to Winterfell, after the Stark army defeats the Bolton, with the help of Sansa and Littlefinger bringing the Army of the Vale. The way Season 7 leaves Sansa, she’s in charge of Winterfell,…

Ah, Gendry. The poor guy has been through so much already, even though he’s only appeared in 5 season. We’re first introduced to the Baratheon bastard in season 1, as he’s working as a smith in King’s Landing and Ned Stark comes to see if he’s actually Robert’s son. Then our pal Gendry gets kidnapped by the Brotherhood Without Banners, and sold to Melissandre, where he gets leeches put on him. So yeah, Gendry’s had a rough time on the show; however, he’s the last Baratheon left, and if the showrunners want to really end the show with a nice…

UGH. It’s been over 365 days since Cersei betrayed the Northern and Targaryen armies, since Jon and Dany had #BoatSex, and since the Hound threatened the FrankenMountain. There was a time that we thought the 8th, and final, season of Thrones would be coming in winter 2018, then that was shut down. Then we believed spring 2019, partially because of a cryptic Maisie Williams post, but more importantly because HBO President of Programming Casey Bloys said the show would return in the first of 2019. However, he seems to have been quite literal in that statement. In an interview with…

Well friends, we’ve made it. Season 1 is officially in the books, and we’re on to season 2; but before that, let’s discuss the crazy, emotional, gripping inaugural season of Game of Thrones. For this post, Tia and myself are just going to team up and talk about some things we liked and how the first season really set up the rest of the series going forward. An obvious spoiler alert: if you haven’t seen season 1 of Game of Thrones, stop what you’re doing, and bless yourself. You won’t regret it. Now, let’s start with things I liked: My…

If you don’t know what Reigns is, don’t feel bad, I didn’t either. So evidently, it’s a mobile game that costs about $3 that’s available on ios, Android, and PC. The basis of the game is you want to reign as long as you can by balancing the power of four factions: military, church, people, and wealth. With each round, you’re asked to make one of two choices by swiping right or left. Each decision will…
